Plus a preparatory session on February 14 and a reflection session approximately six weeks after the course, date to be determined.

This 5-day participatory, virtual course is for gender specialists who would like to develop their training skills. The course will involve both theoretical and practical work. Theoretical topics to be covered include feminist participatory methodologies, quality standards in gender training, and the role of gender training in broader change processes. There will be plenty of opportunities for participants to put the learnings into practice by delivering sessions and activities for their peers. The course will also address key challenges involved in gender training, and how these can be addressed. Following the course, participants should be confident to deliver gender training in their organizations or independently. This training builds on previous Training of Trainers programs, including the one featured in the European Union’s Gender Equality Academy project.

All participants will receive a participants’ manual with key terms, resources, and templates.
