Holding Male Gender Equality Advocates Accountable

I was a big fan of Michael Kimmel's work as a leading scholar and advocate for engaging men in gender equality. When I saw him speak at a recent event in Washington DC, I began having doubts about his message. When I heard about the allegations against Kimmel of harassment and sexism, my doubts began to make sense. I wrote an article to reflect on my experience and the implications for the role and leadership of men in gender equality initiatives.
